Thank You, ewcia1028 ! Yep the blooms are big compared to the pictures at IOSPE...which is twice bigger...even the leaves are twice longer but it is true to its color, texture and form...

Thank You, Ron ! Yes, it is a couple of days as a bud; then it opens its blooms and you have a couple more days then it dries up and becomes paper thin diaphanous like the wings of a dragonfly piece of flower then it drops off...
every three weeks it gives me two white fragrant flowers ...once it blooms it will keep on blooming...I wonder if this has a rest period?

If it does, it's not the deciduous Dendrobium kind of rest period. It is most likely as I stated for the Zygopetalinae...

It rains year round with spring and summer having the highest frequency and quantity of rainfall in comparison to fall and winter.

Default REBLOOM 2014

As I work night shift; I was just home from work early morning when the fragrance gave attention to this orchid and I discovered two flowers in bloom.....I quickly climbed to the top floor of my building and took the pictures before the flowers closed in the daylight.

* just a few minutes warmed under the sun, the petals closed.
