Default Maxillaria tenuifolia

I got this one last year and repotted it in CHC in an 8" basket and hang it in the shadehouse. It has doubled its size since but there were no signs of blooms (I checked almost everyday) so I decided to repot in Orchiata first week of May and put in the the bench next to my cymbidiums. A few days later I noticed new growths coming out which turned out to be buds.

First photo is when I first got the plant.

Hi Nenella,

Orchiata is New Zealand Pinus radiata bark. It works wonders for me, it was recommended by my local Cymbidium Society. It's a little on the expensive side so I only use it on orchids that I like and intend to keep.
