I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that's not a pure Z. maxillaire. The species can be identified by the distinctive calli, which are very large. Moreover, the lip doesn't have a gradient of color, as per the flowers on your plant (image is copyright its original owner).
I think you've got a Galeopetalum, which is an intergeneric hybrid between Zygopetalum and Galeottia. Beautiful plant, though.
