Default Neomoorea irrorata

I bought this one at the RHS flower show this year, off a display. Thought I'd ask and was really surprised that the vendor would sell.

I love this plant. You're really lucky to have gotten ahold of this species; while not the rarest of orchids, you certainly don't see one every day. I've been hunting it down for years to no avail.

How are you growing this one?

I only got it a week ago: still a matter of research and experimentation. The vendor told me it will do fine in intermediate conditions, light in between Phalaenopsis and Catts, high humidity, and a Cymbidium substrate (with a bit more bark in it).

Beautiful blooms, and a pretty cool species too, although the older name, Neomoorea wallisii, has precedence. Congratulations on the great find.
