Very cool looking blooms, Phil. The plant looks good too (doesn't look like one of those infuriating climbers that won't stay in their pots). Is this species a warm, intermediate or cool grower? Any scent to the blooms?

Steve

The climbers can be difficult to have them look neat, but they seem to be the ones I like the most.

Anyways...

Thank you Steve, for the compliments. I do my best to get them growing good and looking good.

These actually have a wide range of temperature tolerance. They favor being cool to intermediate.

Unfortunately, they're not fragrant. The flowers do last a while for a miniature type plant though.

I love them for their unique colors and uncanny resemblance to Darth Vader's helmet.

Yeah, there's a definite kind of "dark side" about them compared to, say, your run-of-the-mill phalaenopsis hybrid. :-) If this one favors a cool-to-intermediate temperature range, then I'm now going to have to look for it. Thanks, Phil.
