wow! nice find! I had to pass up one of these a couple of days ago (nice plant in bloom at a garden center) due to being on my bike.
This plant has a lovely 'coconut-y' fragrance!
A bit of info and a pic are here : IOSPE PHOTOS

the "coconut orchid" heh now I see..

bag babies... I always save the receipts bec 90% of the time you get them home and look at the roots closely and take em right back..This must have been very fresh stock bec this one is not going back anywhere but on MY shelf
and thanks ...I'm staying away from all the pretty noids and moving right on along now into new territory...

That plant is huge for a bag orchid! And one of the largest tenuifolia I've seen for sale. All the ones I've ever seen (only at orchid shows) had maximum 5-6 bulbs on them. I love the smell of it, burying your nose into its sweet coconutness is just heaven!

Rosie, I really wish that they would do bag orchids in Europe! I've lost track of the number of stores I've been to here that sell baggie orchids, with a name! I was drooling over this gorgeous bag Catt last week, and would have bought it if I was living in the US permanently!
