Default Lycaste deppei

Lycaste deppei is found in Mexico and Guatemala at 1100-1500 m, usually in warm, humid forest.
The flowers are strongly scented.
And now it is about right time to enjoy both flowers and their fragrance

Beautiful blooms, Gena. I still need to get this species! Do you allow it to go through a dormancy period during the winter months, or does it grow continuously throughout the year?

Steve

Yes, Steve, I do. After dropping its leaves my plant does not get any water at all. It has very well defined resting period and for that matter quite long as well. During this time it gets not a single drop of water.
But, it is the case only with deciduous Lycaste.
