WOW - deppei was my first Lycaste and it will always be my favorite.

Can you tell me where you purchased your plant? Mine does not have the heavy red spotting and I would love to add that trait to my original one.

Thanks - yours is a beauty!

Brooke

Brooke, I bought mine from Germany for four or five years ago at Schwerter Orchideenzucht ( Schwerter - Orchideenzucht ). And yes, I have to say, I'm really pleased with that plant - the flowers do have heavy spotting.

Gena,
I am envious. In your pic, the flower looks very similar to mine HOWEVER, you report "beautifully fragrant"! I wish that mine were the same. I have two different cultivars. Both are slightly fragrant. Maybe, different conditions promote different results?

Thanks Gena I guess I won't be able to get one from a German supplier! Yours is absolutely gorgeous.

Stitz mine has no fragrance :>(

This has been added to my wishlist !!! I've got only 2 mature plants and 2 seedling and this species would be a nice addition.
