Default Zygopetalum reginae

This plant arrived by mail today. It is approximately one week out of Brasil.

Will someone please provide basic culture info? Google wasn't any help to me. I found a pic of the flower from a German source; that's it.

Thanks,

Doesn't look like a plant to me; where's the green part?

There is a little new root growth. Some are firm; some aren't.

The absence of green isn't necessarily significant. It's almost winter in Brasil.

Thanks for the thoughts.

I learned that this terrestrial orchid species was discovered in the state of São Paulo where it was growing at 5250 ft. (1600 m) in the Serra da Bocaina.

Is this approximately the same area as Colax (Pabstia) jugosus except that Z. reginae might be found at an even higher in elevation?
