Default Bifrenaria calcarata

This Bifrenaria blooms two times a year, in the beggining of the fall and in the middle of summer. The scent is strange, something chemical.

Very cool, hopefully that scent isn't too strong... or maybe it helps make the place smell like it was just cleaned?

What a neat flower! Hey, as long as it doesn't smell like something dead, I'm OK.... or even if the dead smell isn't real strong...

Hi SP2340, Nichole

The scent isn't strong, and smell like 'plastic'! It's not a "bad smell"! To my knowledge only Bifr tetragona, and its closed-allied Bifr wittgii, smell like "something dead"!!! And fortunately this smell isn't real strong!
