Default spots on my new maxillaria tenuifolia

Hey everyone; I just bought this maxillaria at an outdoor orchid show. I got there just as the vendors were packing up so I didn't get a good chance to look it over before I bought it. It's flowering nicely but there are little ring-like spots over the pseudobulbs - what could this be?? I dabbed it with alcohol + cinnamon, just in case but it doesn't look like fungus to me. Any ideas? I hope it's not a huge problem since the flowers are still going strong.

Also, i heard that maxillarias need warm humid conditions. It's sitting in peat chips and I'm worried if it doesn't dry between waterings it'll probably get moldy/fungus since i live in hawaii. Any other suggestions for maxillarias are much appreciated!

I can't see it good. Does the ring like spots come off if you scrape it with your thumb? Or is it part of the bulbs?
