I grow it under lights kinda off to the side of a 1ooo watt sodium and a lot of air movement .and the nights hit about 60 and the days 80 degrees. yes my location is nebraska.

Wow! That's a very different Max. from most I've seen. I love it! Does it have a fragrance like most Maxillarias do? What kind of grow habit does it have?

I don't think its hard to handle but i think it likes it on the cooler side 60to 80 degrees and the fragrance ,I haven't noticed yet but like i said i have a lot of air movement so that might be why.
