Default Maxillaria schunkeana in bloom

I received this last year from Duncan, as a gift for helping him out after the WOC. Maxillaria's have a special place in my orchid room.
I like to be surprised, so rarely do I look up the flower. I guessed correctly on this one, as it compliments the little Erin pot that I decided to stick it in, although I feel a pot change coming, as it has pretty much out grown it already!

Thanks Becca, if it's still in bloom this morning I'll snap a pic of the plant, pot and all!

Thanks Laura! That is just to cute! I think the pot fits the 'chid perfectly!

In my opinion, there are not enough photo's of what the plant actually looks like, but don't get me wrong, I love seeing photo's of the blooms. Sometimes when trying to find out info on a particular 'chid, such as overall plant size at maturity, it is nice to have a picture! Thanks again so much Laura! I really enjoyed seeing this one, both the flower and the plant!
