WOW!!! I am so jealous. I got one of these for my birthday in November and it's growing and growing. No flowers yet, but green and getting bigger. Don't know how old, but can't wait for the flowers and scent. Good job growing! Hope mine gets to look like yours.

What a beautiful specimen. I am overly impressed.What is it planted in? I have had one in fine fir bark that is the slowest growing plant I have. What's your secret?

Oh, I have no secret at all, Donald! It has been in three fern fiber for several years. I believe the last time I repotted it was four or five years ago (notice the small pot in comparison with the plant size). This species has aerial roots that run down the rhizome inside the brown sheaths, so the medium apparently is not much important. |
