Default My first bloom of Max. uncata

Hey there, all...It's official. This is the first bloom I can take complete and total credit for. Well, thanks to guidance from people here at the OB!

Received Mr. Max. uncata back in February. It's not the best photo in the world, but he's kind of a shy, unassuming little guy.

Am very excited because I have another couple of 'chids getting ready to bloom and/or spike, and they will also be first timers by my hand.

Thanks for looking.

Yvan, nice mount and a cute little fellow at that. Looks like tan/brown and white, is that the color? Only one flower?

Thanks, Wanda & Swamper!

Don, yes, only one flower for me at this time. He's a young blooming size. Once he becomes more mature, apparently, there could be flowers all over at any time of year. The petals & sepals are cream with tan stripes running front to back, and a white lip. He is a cute one, however, as I'd said before, rather unassuming. Love the foliage growth habit, tho.

Thanks, Kim. Yeah, I know!

And I've got a Laelia with two buds, and a Bulbo. that is just starting to put out a spike! With this string of first blooms, I think my boyfriend is going to get jealous!
