beautiful. And Rob is such a nice guy. How was the show? I use to belong to AAOS but I now winter in florida and don't get back in time for the show.

It was small, but nice. Cheri is really the one to ask, as she volunteered. If I could grumble about something, it was that not all the displays were marked well. There were 5 or 6 vendors. It must be Phaph and Phrag season, so there were a lot of those. It was a pleasant day.

I think the MOS show in South Bend has me spoiled! But a dear friend lives near Ann Arbor and I got to catch up with her and spent the night.

Both are very nice selections! That 'Green Gecko" is interesting and unusual, and the other one has such a rich, deep color.

It was so nice to meet Carol (Dolly) in person. I'll have to wait until our meeting next month to hear actual attendance numbers, etc., but I'm guessing it was close to recent years' numbers. I do think we may have had a couple more vendors in past years. (We have had a couple of big orchid growers in Michigan close up shop in recent years.)

Nice finds! You are really getting into the Zygos! Are they fragrant?
Rob is very nice. He did a presentation at our OS a couple of years ago.
It certainly is show season! We had our show (Greater Akron OS) a few weeks ago and did pretty well.

The "Rhein Moonlight' hybrid is nicely fragrant. Yes, Leafmite, they seem to do well in my greenhouse window. My 'Advabce Australia' has 5 spikes!

Yeah the AA show used to have a few more vendors. Those missing quit coming for a variety of reasons ... not the least of which that it simply wasn't a worthwhile show to attend. The area for the vendors was too small for the number which used to attend, attendance was okay but never fantastic (you should see the # of people who show up for the cactus and succulent sale there!), and the show is the same weekend as the Pittsburgh show (which is a bigger and better show for several of the vendors). On the plus side, the loss of those other vendors has helped those who remain finally to making it truly profitable to be there (less competition). The Grand Rapids (GVOS), East Lansing (GLOS), and Madison Hts (MOS) shows are all considerably bigger. I'm looking forward to that this weekend.
