Hello, I am from Maine and I absolutely love Orchids! Although I am new at the growing of them I have always had a passion for this and some other flowering plants. I am hoping to start a greenhouse this summer and pursue this as a business eventually.

Don't want to disapoint you but are you aware that the blue one is, in fact, white?
It is blue because a blue ink is injected in the spike to increase sales due to that uncommon color. If you look closely at the base of the spike you'll see a circular scar where the needle was introduced.
But they are both beautiful...

Welcome to the board. Sorry about your blue orchid. My guess, you will soon come to like the white one better.
