Wilson (eastern portion of NC, in the coastal plains).
I've been to Wilson (years ago I had some work that took me to the Bailey, NC area to the west of Wilson).

Small world, eh?
Bailey is definitel a nice, small, rural town (with a lot of talented artists, and other talented people as residents). That famous song lyric by Bob Dylan "the times they are a changing" seems to ring true. The true 'rural feel' seems to be slowly disappearing around my area.

Welcome to the board! I live in a rural area myself, we enjoy the quiet, small town feel. It is not far from big cities if you feel the need. We jokingly call our area “cow county”. There is something to be said about going outdoors especially at night and hearing absolute silence. Love it.
