What a great collection! I especially love the one in the first photo, with the spindly petals.

I know it's not orchids, but what carnivorous plants does your husband have? (I love carns, but sadly haven't owned one in awhile)

Trader Joe's? Oh no... I didn't know about them. Since you just reduced my space and bank account, I thought I would return the favor. I'm in San Jose and thought you might like to know that the Penninsula Orchid Society is having their yearly show in Redwood City in early January. You can find details on Facebook or their website.

My husband has an outdoor collection of pitcher plants, venus flytraps, and sundews. We live fairly close to a top carnivorous plant supplier - going in there is like a zoo for plants! I have a nepenthes that is not doing so well - I think it caught some kind of bacteria so it is in quarantine from my flowers.

Thank you for telling me about this! It was a beautiful showing for sure. I ended up bringing home two Paphs and a giant, old, cattleya. Don't worry, they live on opposite ends of my apartment, haha!
