just joined NYBG student
Hi everyone!!
I'm a new member to the forum although I have gotten a bunch of information from this site already I figured I'd join to get some help with my more specific questions and do a little networking.
So, I am currently a student in the New York Botanical Garden's School of Professional Horticulture. I've had a few phals on and off over several years and now that my green thumb is improving I started a modest orchid collection which has been growing... even though I tell myself I can't get anymore plants. I live in Yonkers, NY which is zone 7a, so the lil green kids go outdoors for the summer and overwinter in my foyer.
I currently have a few plants which are fairly popular in the trade but I have also acquired several which I have found out that are not highly cultivated.
Anyway enough about me. Thanks for all the info to come in the future!
