NEW MEMBER!! South Florida USA
Hello everyone!! My name is Carlos and I am a complete newbie to both orchids and forums. I randomly ran into this site and immediately signed up. I hope to gain tons of knowledge about orchids and hopefully with everyones help keep my new plants nice and healthy.
Just a little background about myself. I am a artist and avid plant lover who wants to get better with orchids in particular. Orchids have been in my family for years and now i want to join the tradition but unfortunately all the orchid growers live in Puerto Rico. So getting help can be a little tricky. Orchid growing means a lot to my family and i would like to continue this tradition with everyones help on this forum.
i have many plants at the moment so i have many questions. i will start a new thread on the beginner section with pictures and questions. I am excited about this site. Thanks you all in advance.

Hi Carlos, I am an artist too, a sculptor! I don't sculpt orchids, though one day I may try! (I used to be a painter). Will you be posting what orchids you have? You said "many."

Hey Optimist. Awesome i love meeting new artist. i will be posting new photos soon. sorry I have been so busy with work and extra curricular stuff. i will post a the link to the photos soon. I am also new to forums so this is kinda tricky to me |
