NorCal is a great place for natives, especially the Siskiyous.

I've never been to the Siskiyous. I have seen a few of the native species locally, including Calypso orchids (they're pretty common in the redwoods in Sonoma and other counties). I've seen bog orchids up in the Sierra. And I'm pretty sure I saw a Cypripedium californicum plant growing in Oakland in a park, but not totally sure. I'd wanted to go back to the same spot later but didn't get a chance to do so. If it wasn't a Cyp., I'm not sure what it would be.
