Hi From SWFL! - Orchid Board

Hello again! I joined a couple-few years ago, posted a bit, lurked a while and then left. I've been lurking a bit again and now I'm ready to jump back in here. I think.

I only had a few orchids when I was around before, but under all the peer pressure in this place I'm now up to 25 - 30. I've been doing pretty well with them, but I'm pretty sure I can do better, and that's why I'm back. Research on the net only goes so far, but I do trust the people here even though I was, and still am, a bit intimidated.

Anyway, here I am back again, and I'll likely have a bunch of questions in the near and not so near future.

Beth, I'm an absolute addict, but I promised my husband that I wouldn't get any more until I can make sure that all of the ones that I currently have are doing as well as they can.

The last year has been hard on them because I've had some major health issues and basically just let Mother Nature take care of them. I only lost one, but the rest suffered a bit. I've recently moved some to areas of the lanai that I think will be better for them and now it's just a matter of getting back into the swing of things.

Exploring around here will be a big help in that regard.
