Hi from Reno Male
Default Hi from Reno

Hi all, I'm Kim, (male, to avoid confusion) from Reno, NV. I joined last month, but am just getting around to introducing myself. I've been growing orchids off and on, mostly on, since 1961, according to the oldest AOS Bulletin I can find. I'm a window grower, but that hasn't stopped me from trying whatever strikes my fancy. Cats and Phals do best for me, but all of my assortment of fourty or so plants seem to be happy. Nothing that would win awards, but the pleasure the bring more than makes up for it! Here are a few shots of my setups, and some blooms that are open now.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcomes. Dorothy, the white one is Gerberara Snow Ballet. It starts out pink and fades to white with small spots. It' one of my favorites.

Gerberara Snow Ballet = (Dial. Snowflake x Bl. Richard Mueller)
Does it have a fragrance?
I know why I like it so much .. it reminds me of an Iwana. Apple Blossom!
