i'm new to orchid board. i have experience with plants of all sorts but i am some what new to orchids i have 5 orchids as of now a dendrobium kingianum that large enough for a 10 inch pot but inseat i am keeping it in a basket. i also have a dendrobium aggregatum aka lendeyi that i recently moved from an 8inch pot to a 10 by 10 inch piece of fern bark. it has about 40-45 pbulbs. i have a small dendrobium aggregatum in 4inch basket and a good old homedepot phalenopsis.

i learned from working at home depot that all plants have a 1 year garuntee so when learning about orchids i highly suggest the home depot

Glad you found us!

I wasn't aware that HD had a 1 year guarantee on plants - unfortunately the HD near me rarely has any interesting orchids

I forgot about that, guess because I stopped buying chids there ! It IS something all newbies should know, considering that the Home Depot culture forbodes the chids bought there dying !!! I remember seeing completely dead brown leaved bushes in the return line !

i posted it for the newbies as it is a cheap way to get practice caring for orchids. every body has killed a few orchids when they were learning and this way you can be payed back for your mistakes
