Hi! My best friend (Jennyfleur) just gave me my very first Orchid for my birthday. And by "just" I mean, I got it yesterday, and my birthday's today. Yep, that new. She said to come over and register so we can keep this plant alive, which, knowing me, is going to be a challenge.

It's a Phalaenopsis Orchid, which Jenny says sould be blooming in sunset colours (if I remember correctly?) At the moment it's got 2 little stocks which, I assume, will eventually (hopefully!) bloom.

Anyway, that's me.

Welcome to the OB. With a friend like Jenny, you are in good hands (it's good news for your phal too!).

You'll have to post pics when it blooms.

Best,

-J

DLee was part of a terrible (and dare I say terrific) trio back here in the UK as we all grew up at uni from students to teachers and, don't worry, she's aready been told that pictures are compulsary when those buds open!

PS Thanks jrodpad

Thanks, Jenny. Yes, it was magic. Miss you.

My baby orchid's looking pretty good. Nice deep green leaves and the stocks are looking strong. Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone!
