I just started orchid growing in late winter, and have been gardening outdoors for about ten years now. I am really into paphs of green and pink and catts, growing everything in semi-hydro (thanks, Ray! ). Anyway, I can't wait to learn more and get better at growing these cool plants.
I'm in NW PA and grow mine on wire shelves in a SW facing stained glass picture window, supplemented with a 48" shoplight and a clip-on 150watt CFL. Lots of mine are baggie babies from Lowes:
