Hello! I'm a new member form the Bahamas currently living all over the world.

I grew up around plants. My mum had the greenest of green thumbs and our living room and back yard was a mini rain forest!

The Bahamas has islands that have some of the most rare wild orchids and I would love to study them properly.

I would like to learn as much as I can about orchids and this seems like a good place to get information.

If anyone knows of any classes, books or other online resources I should use please let me know.

Sunny.

Hi Sunny!

Welcome to the OB! Nice to meet you

Wow! Living all over the world is tough to beat! I've only lived in California and Hawaii for any long length of time. It must be great to see so many different cultures and things! I bet it is also a plus for aquiring plants!
Please post pictures! I long to see your mini rain forest! I bet it's awesome!

Welcome again

Aboard Sunny, its great to bring the island surrounded by water to our community. We have many global members and great that you have joined us. What type of orchids do you have personally, raising in the wild, the ultimate dream. We have a few members who venture the wild and hopefully they will chime in and go forth with you in your venture.

Hubby and friends will be tackling the big blue in June, damn if vertigo has me land-locked, hummmm...will have to see if he can take a few hours for me to venture the island and take s of the orchid wild. I can see the s now...trying to make me believe that dolphin or wahoo is a new wild orchid...
