Well, I have 200 palm trees in my back yard that I would like to adorn with some flowers. I think I'm interested in orchids Native to deep south FL that can grow outside without much work. (I work enough, the plants should be joyful) I've seen vanillas can thrive here in the wild. Miniatures are very interesting to me and I have made some miniature hangers recently. I know the ghost ghost ghost is native pretty much only in my area and helping the population numbers seems like something desirable..... Other than that, I'm very interested in the terrariums and vivariums, (the ones I've seen here are incredible) but that may be further down the road. OH and aqua culture would be great for me if I could learn the methods and make my own pots... Hmmm. I should stop typing now because I'm sure the more I read the forums, the more plants I will have an appreciation for.

Looks like your into pretty much everything! I wouldn't suggest the ghost orchid they are very hard to grow without a lot care. Let me also say that mounted orchid (except for a small few) will need regular watering. Most Cattleyas and oncidiums do well. I have a royal plam with 2 different Oncidiums (1 noid and 1 wildcat) and C. skinnerii, and Bc. Patricia duquesnay on it and they are easy to care for. I'll PM you with a list of what I have.

How cool, specially the blue one. Are they able to drain the water at the bottom? I worry about the roots sitting in water. Also maybe it will be best to start a new thread for your work since this is the introduction forum. You will get more to see it.
