Thanks! To answer questions, glass blowing is my full time job (for 13 years now) And that ONE flower took between 3-4 hours. I couldn't believe how long it took, but orchids are complex beings!

Now I'm studying up on mosses, mounts, dif. species of orchids, and POTS!! I've started playing with making my own pots. I'll get pictures soon.

Hi Maestro. and Welcome to the Board. Your last attachments are not working I have a delicate but beautiful orchid for you to try. And pretty famous as well. Dendrophylax lindenii (The Ghost Orchid).

That is simply beautiful. Do you plan on it being in the pot permenant? if so I would be concerned that there is no drainage. OK wait a minute the plant is real right? If not disregaurd my dumb ass

dave you beat me to the GHOST THING even in the movie about the orchid thief ,,,,if you look carefully at the ghost he's carying it looks like a coat hanger painted at the tip white I almost had a heart attack I almost fainted lol.

dave we where heading toward your spot in faka but my sister was headind the pose and encountered a huge MOCASSIN she hit the brakes and we had to RETREAT RETREAT close one I thought you had it placed there for INSURANCE

I like that ghost orchid. Might be a bit fragile but hey, I may give it a shot.

FLhiker, have no fear. I put holes in the bottom of the pot.
