Hi there,
I'm Massimo and I live in Italy. I'm an orchid enthusiast since 1999 after a trip in Singapore.
Now I grow inside my home about 60 different orchids (many of which are botanical species) .
I'm registered since June 2005 but I've newer wrote before now because my english is not very good. So please be patient.
I hope to be able to build soon a greenhouse so i can increase my orchid collection.
Next I will insert some snapshots of my orchids.

Hi Susanne, thank you for your warm welcome.
Live in in Italy is very fine (a lot o beautiful landscapes, city of art, etc.).
I'm 1 hour far from Venice (one of the most beautiful city in the world).
As you have suggested I send some pictures of the landscapes of the area where I live. I think is better to post them here!

I went to Las Vegas recently and there is a beautiful casino/hotel there...The Venetian.
It's gorgeous, the man who had it built wanted it to be an exact replica of Venice where he and his wife spent time. There are two canals with gondolas. We went for a gondola ride through the indoor canal and now it is one of my life-missions to get to Venice someday.
The gondolier was born there (raised in the US since boyhood) and he had the most beautiful way of describing it.

Ciao Susanne, I went to Las Vegas this spring for an exhibition and I've see too the Venetian inside. It's a good miniature replica of some places in Venice but if you have the opportunity to visit Venice you could see a big difference. It's really poetic and the Venetian are duplicating with good result this aspect of Venezia.
