Hello from the heart of Texas
Default Hello from the heart of Texas

I was recommended to this site by an Orchid supplier as a great resource. Needless to say, many Orchids have met their demise under my watch ... however, I actually had my last two Orchids survive and put up with my inability to grow Orchids ... so I pulled the trigger and decided to go all in and buy 6 to see if I can pass the test of time and start this hobby ... looking forward to all the help and guidance !

Welcome

As Rbarata says, 6 is just dipping a toe into the water but don’t worry, we are all terrible enablers here so I’m sure that number will grow rapidly

Welcome.
About that number growing rapidly. My score is 26 in 7 months. I always tell myself 'Just one more'.

thanks for the warm welcome and encouragement ...
I've attached what I cataloged as my starting 6.
I know nothing about the Orchid species and or how easy or hard it is to grow.
All are about 12" tall and have 8-16 green leaves (there is probably a correct term for those).

your thoughts?
