Hello,
I am very much an amateur at orchid collecting, and I have 18 currently. None of my orchids are very well put together, as I rescue them from the trash at the garden center I work at, but I love them anyways. I've only paid for one of my orchids, which is a pretty big vanilla we had on clearance haha. I also enjoy looking for orchids outside. That is what originally got me into collecting the houseplants, so I hope to post on that board at some point.

Here is one of my phalaenopsis that someone dropped off at the garden center because they no longer wanted it. Very big!!

Welcome! And that Phal looks great. I think it will reward your loving care! Much easier when you start with a plant that isn't at death's door, and that one looks like it has been rescued in time.
