I'm Jonas, joining you all from Brooklyn, NY. My particular passion lies in the world of miniature orchids, a realm I find both challenging and rewarding. Recently, I've embarked on an exciting project – starting a vivarium, or as we orchid lovers might say, an orchidarium. I'm here to seek advice, share experiences, and learn more about the nuances of orchid care. Hello Jonas and welcome.

I am new to orchids, as of August 2023, and due to my location I decided to try miniature orchids in a repurposed vivarium. So far so good. I've not killed anything yet, have good growth and even two plants have bloomed. Most importantly is the access to many orchid experts here on the Orchid board who have been very willing to help.

I'll look forward to seeing your progress with your vivarium and miniature orchids. Let us know how you are doing.
