Greetings, new member here :)
Talking Greetings, new member here :)

Hi everyone,

it's been at least 15 years since I have posted on any forum, so I am feeling a little nostalgic now .

I am from the Czech republic and I started growing orchids around a year ago. It started with a phalaenopsis, which sparked an insterest about orchids in me. I decided I want to try growing different kinds of orchids, although I am quite limited by space and conditions - my flat only has a few of north and east facing windows that do not get that much sun during the day.

I am growing these orchids at the moment: Phalaenopsis, Mediocalcar umboiense, Ludisia discolor, Epidendrum floribundum and Phalaenopsis chibae. They seem to be doing kind of well, except for the epidendrum, which I shall create a different thread for soon

As a beginner grower, I believe these forums will be a great help on my orchid-growing journey.

See you all later

Hey there! We're all obsessed with orchids here but with hockey season in full swing I need to give a shout out and glad to have so many Czech players playing on our teams! Keep blooming!
