Default Hello from sunny Florida

Happy to be here, Florida orchid addict here. Growing mostly standard and novelty phalaenopsis, although I have a few dendrobrium, oncidium, miltoniopsis, Zygopetalum and B. Nodosa hybrids. Growing inside and outside and under LEDs. This is my current favorite, P. Yaphon Pink Bee ‘Sweetheart’

I have an obsession with fragrant novelty phalaenopsis such as bellina and violacea. I’ve grown for many years getting my start from my mom. She’d drag me to all the local mall orchid shows and buy beautiful plants, giving me divisions as they grew. That was back when cattleya were THE orchid to have, nowadays it seems Phalaenopsis are THE ORCHID. Even though I’ve grown orchids for many years I’m learning new things everyday from sites like this and FB orchid groups. Glad to be here.

Thumbs up

For me, THE orchid to have is one I'm currently growing well after having failed to do previously. Adrenaline rush! Your phal is quite beautiful.

FL as well, I love orchids and I'm about to join the local orchid society. You might want to join yours as well but don't let it distract you from the fact that in 1998 the Undertaker threw Mankind off the cage in Hell in the Cell sending him plummeting 16 feet through the announcers table.
