Default Orchids are like pringles, once you pop... Lol.

I'm only 5 months into what I fear will be a life long addiction. Lol. It started by watching a phalenopsis plant for a co-worker, after watching it for a few months it formed a spike and bloomed. That may have been the moment I fell in love. That coworker decided I should keep it and now, 5 months on I've gotten several siblings to keep her company. Lol. A pheopedilum and a dendrobium to start, with many more on my wish list. Pretty soon my house will be more plant and rock (also a huge rock hound) then furniture. Hopefully I find myself in good company.

Welcome! Yes, you have been bitten by the orchid bug... a gentle addiction for which there is no known cure.

Your "intro" is exactly what I have found... having one orchid is like eating one potato chip. Not going to happen. You have come to a a place where we enable each other... and gladly share what we learn as we go. I have found that the hobby leads to a lifetime of learning (one of its major appeals to me). So do feel free to ask questions, share your experiences (and photos). Welcome aboard!

Welcome to this forum. Your orchid obsession has certainly begun for you. Don't fight it. It's easier that way.
