Default Hello, I'm New

Hello Everyone,

I'm new here. I just bought 4 phalaenopsis orchids this week. I unfortunately have a terrible track record with any kind of plant. I've killed everything I've tried to grow (including some orchids), so I will probably be needing a lot of help

I'm excited to do much better this time around.

If you understand that epiphytic orchids do much of their gas exchange through their roots, rather than leaves (as is the case for terrestrial plants), and focus on providing moisture without suffocating the roots, you'll do fine.

Hi there! I'm still new to the board myself. I'm SO glad I found it because I'm also new to caring for orchids and there are a lot of really nice folks who will answer your questions and give advice!
