Default Newbie intro

Hi all. Am a newbie learning all I can. After lurking a bit, it seems that you have lots of great info and people on this forum.

Can't wait to learn more, and to go to my first orchid show at the end of this month! I may actually end up with an orchid with an ID to add to my cast of cast-offs I've collected so far.

This is my first spring with my new babies and we have some in spike and bud.

Welcome aboard. We all have at least one noid. Doesn't mean they are any less lovely. Enjoy the show, and keep us posted.

HI!
Welcome to the board! Great to have you here!

First shows are always a great way to go when you are learning! The amazing displays, plants for sale, and experienced orchid growers provide much information.

When you go to the show remember to ask lots of questions! Especially if you see something that looks like what you might have at home, or want to grow!
Also bring a camera! I know I love seeing photos of orchid displays from around the world and I am sure other members do as well!

I do warn you though, orchid collecting is addicting! However, I am going to guess you are already learning that
Welcome again!
