Default feel very dumb
I'm new and feel very dumb about this site. I'm writing this post to just say hello to all of you and look forward to many forums on orchids of which I'm new to as well.

I can assure you there's no reason at all to ever feel dumb around here, not for any reason!

There's always someone to help you out on just about anything you need to know. Everyone is nice, too.

Please don't feel dumb! I want to personally welcome you to the board and hope to see your posts in the future. Nobody's dumb here (including you ) it's just that some of us have killed more orchids than others!

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Welcome Gin...OK let me tell you about dumb so you'll know how smart you really are. My husband bought me an Orchid, in two days it was weeping, I thought I killed it but come to find out I think its suppose to do that...I over watered, under watered...it died! I killed it!

Now you should feel much better! Welcome Gin!!!!

Welcome to Orchidboard...the best forum around...and a place where you NEVER have to feel dumb! In fact, that's not allowed

No matter where we are in our stroll through the world of orchids, I doubt if anybody is at a place where they don't have questions. That's why Orchidboard is so wonderful...some of the more experienced growers have already thought of...and resolved...the questions that those of us less experienced growers are just coming up with! The only way to learn is to ask questions and do some experimenting...if you need help with anything, please do not hesitate to ask
