Default Hello from a noob

everyone
My name’s Paul and I'm from the UK. I'm new to orchid growing (if you don’t count the couple of hardy Orchids that have been flourishing in my back garden for the past ten years). This board has been very helpful and informative so I decided to join and become part of the community.
I started with a white Phalaenopsis about two months ago. They should come with a warning that they are very addictive. Thanks to my local Tesco supermarket selling very cheap orchids that seem to get delivered the days I go shopping there, my collection has now grown to 11 (and I still want more). All are your usual supermarket NoID orchids, so far I have got 5 Phalaenopsis, 2 Dendrobium an Oncidium and three others which I think are a Brassia an Odontoglossum and a Miltoniopsis but I will be heading over to the identification forum to make sure.

Glad you found us!

Yes! I agree a warning label advising of the likelihood of addiction should be required on orchids!

Welcome! Yes they are addictive!! I just got two boxes of new orchids (18 of them) and I already wish I had the money to buy more now! Too bad I have to save up again for the next order!

Post pics for us. You are going to love this site!

Welcome to Orchid Board

Yes I found it difficult to go into the supermarket without coming out with an orchid for a long while. Now I have most of the colours you generally get there so can resist more easily, but it's still tempting

Thanks for the welcome.
Here’s a few photos of my little collection for everyone to enjoy. I’ll need to break them up soon to give some of them the right light requirements which will only give me more room on this windowsill to get some more.
