Hi! My name is Ross, aka, paphreek. As my monicker implies, I specialize in Paphiopedilums, but I also grow other orchids. This is a nice looking forum, Marty! I like the "Junior Member" designation, especially at my age.

Hi, nice to meet you. Lots of Paph freaks around of late. We need more Catt lovers. However, we greedily take you in as we are always thirsty for new members!!

Thanks for the welcome! I'll check in whenever I can. Work is at its busiest and one of our store managers is in the hospital, so I'm struggling just to keep up with the watering.

Welcome Paphreek ! Yes that's the well intended compliment Thanks for the reminder, it might be a good idea to tweak the titles from the default ones.

Hi Ross,

Welcome. What kind of conditions do you grow under?

I grow in the house, using a combination of artificial and natural light wherever possible.

Welcome!

I grow about a 100 Paphs on windowsills and under lights...another "Phreek" in the making????? Any rate - I am having good luck with Brachy hyrids under florescents...Not sure if it is the lights or the individual watering due to the set up....
