Aboard starwiz, its great that you have found the OB....don't hesitate to ask a question when help is needed or merely posting your new bloomers We here love s

When we see a chid that is calling our name and it's survival rate is not what we expect, we learn from the experience that is how we grow. They tell us when they are not happy .... than the game begins

Glad your here

Default hello

Thanks. Im in Colorado Springs where air is dry and humidity is low. I grow indoors as you never expect what's out there, bugs, snow, hail...The hot sun came out in May and it snowed one day. There could be hail sometimes. We now have on and off thunderstorm with strong wind. The place is improving but once in awhile a wild animal may show up in the community.
(a deer, a fox, a racoon or hyeena...)
I used 42w cfl that cost about $7 from a box store and
for more than a year, no reblooming happened. Maybe because I turned it on for about 7 hrs/day. I feed my orchids with 1/2 tsp grow more 20 10 20/gal/week, a drop of superthrive, 1/4 tsp of hormex. And, I use ro water from the store so I sometime add 1/4 tsp of calmag. Do I need to add more fertilizer? I killed a lot of plants already and I have about 40 still alive. I have dend, a phrag, some phals, paphs, catl. onc, cymbidiums.
I placed my orchids near a window with east sunshine
and my cymb in the backyard deck. I hope it survive.

I posted one of my first bloom, paph. delophyllum, a tiny flower with about an inch pouch. The flower opened up today and I feel sad as it is small. and Im not sure if its normal:
