Default Hello to everyone

Hello All
I am Srivida. I am new to this board. I have a few orchids and other tropicals at home. I live in Zone 5 and hence most of my plants overwinter indoors. My completed projects are -
1.Acquire enough plants to make people call me PLANTAHOLIC .
2. Put together a plant shelf with lights, humidity trays, etc to accommodate all the plants.
3.Move most of my plant to growing semi-hydroponically.
4.Make my plant room as insect free as possible.
5.Keep as many plants as possible ALIVE.

My on-going projects:
6.Getting all my flowering plants to BLOOM.
7.Inventory and index my plant and review my wishlist
8.MAKE A TERRARIUM AND VIVARIUM.

Waiting to learn more from all of you.

SRIVIDA

Hi Srivida, welcome to the Orchid Board.

When does one actually becomes a Plantaholic? If it like an orchidaholic, there is no such thing as having only one!

Enjoy the forum!

I have about 60 orchids, 20 jasmines and gardenias, 2 hibiscuses, jade, aloe, money tree, pothos, bougs to name a few. I guess that makes me PLANTAHOLIC.
My husband's collegues actually call our house a RainForest. I take it as a compliment. Any double guess !!
