Default Newbie here !

Hello All,
Just would like to say hello and my name is Carl Taylor. I have been growing orchids for a few years now ( more years than I care to name ). I grow several genus. I keep catts, paphs and dracs. I can grow all these in the same greenhouse as most all of the greenouse is down in the ground eight ft. I have cool spots and warm as well as the warmest part in upper portion for the catts.
I also keep many carnivorous plants. The cool growing highland nepenthes are my main show in this greenhouse but more and more orchids keep showing up!
I look forward to learning and sharing with the group. Be good to here from all the gang.
The best, Later, Carl Taylor

Welcome... I love carnivorous plants too, but they tend not to do too well in my vivarium. It might be too wet. Also, they eat all my fruit flies that are supposed to be eaten by my frogs, heheh

I feel like a minority here without a greenhouse

That looks like something ideal for summering orchids outdoors - ooooh, very shadecloth like!

I don't have a greenhouse either.
Welcome Hiland! I'de love to hear more about your nepenthes. I not to long ago encountered a large nepenthes for the first time. I was flabergasted by the size of the pitcher! It was longer than the length of my head!!
