Default Hello fellow orchidholics !

This Orchid Board was announced in our Orchid Society Newsletter. I have been growing about 6 years...my favs are slippers and phals. I just received my first Award of Merit for the AOS on one of my phals...I grow in a small "treehouse " greenhouse (built on a deck 10ft off the gound), and in a sunroom. I have somewhere between 300-400 orchids...too many !!!

WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO !!! That's a lot of plants !!! It must be lovely to always have something in bloom! Here's a question, how many things would you say you have blooming at any given time ?

Wow, .
Welcome to the board! So many people joining as of late, this place is getting busy!
Do you have a specialty?

C'mon Gilda, lets see some pictures of your setup. Throw some pix into that gallery! I'm dying to see it...

post it in the "setups and enclosures" forum, so this place can seem at least a bit organized, hehe

Gilda:
You are a very experienced orchid grower and congrats on your AM on your phal. It takes a lot of patience and good culture for you to get an award for all your hard work. Good to see you on this board as well. I have been growing orchids for 24 years and in the last few years my specialty is in growing Paph species from flask.
