Default Ah - looks like I found the right place - more info

It is good to see some seasoned growers here. I have been growing orchids for over fifty years - started when I was nine years old, so obviously I am no kid. I focus mainly on Paphs and Phrags, with a smattering of lots of other things. I own and operate a small hybridizing business and sell at a few shows every year. I have run out of room in the greenhouse, so soon there will have to be a big liquidation of the excess - about fifteen thousand seedlings currently. I just got back from the AOS meeting at Disney World, and I must say congratulations to Krull-Smith for the awards on those fantastic slippers! I may be heading back to Costa Rica soon, so apologies in advance to anyone who has been trying to reach me. I might be gone again soon for a few days.

Hello again Rod,

Are you able to ship/sell to Canada? I am sure there are many of us here that would love to help you move a little inventory!

Default Export to Canada

Alas, so far I have not exported any plants. I have thought about it several times, and perhaps it is time to wade through the red tape and start doing that. I will have to curtail some of my travel perhaps and spend some time researching the requirements and filing all the pertinent documents. Thank you for the inquiry and encouragement to do that!

It would probably be much easier for me to chat with you on the phone and roam the benches! LOL! I am desperately behind with inventorying everything. Feel free to call me on the toll free cell - 877-815-3556. I will be tied up all weekend this weekend playing symphony concerts, but by Monday I should be reachable. I have quite a few seedlings in relatively small numbers of each cross, that are not numerous enough to list on my website. I also have limited numbers of some Paph and Phrag flasks, including some new Paph Lunacy flasks that just arrived from the lab. I used my Skip Bartlett 'White Pepper' on a Hellas 'Westonbirt' (pod parent). If anyone knows the clone names of the original cross made by Terry Root, I am curious to know which Hellas clone he used.
