Default Intro from another Albertan

Morning,

A friend of mine introduced me to the board and of course anything to do with orchids....have to sign up for.

I have been growing orchids since about 1994 - just an amateur at it though.

At present I have about 120 orchids. I also grow African Violets. Love my plants!

Looking forward to sharing and learning!

Joanne

Hi Dave,

Thank you for the warm welcome.

Well I grow Phals, Phrags, Den. a few Cats...wish I had more. Masd, Quite a few mini's...

I just got myself a ghost orchid that is the cutest thing you ever did see and it has no leaves only roots and I have it in a small clear water bottle as it likes stagnant air.

I also have a Psychopsis Papillo which is about to bloom....been looking for that one for a long time.

I really like different but easy.

I mostly grow in coconut. My masd. and some of my phals I have in LFM (long fibre moss)

I grow under lights and sunshine.

Hope to learn and share!

Joanne
