Fine I'll say Hi
Well I guess I'll take the chance to explain my logic for me getting into this hobby:
I have Fish and work ing a Fish store.
I have corals and sell corals too.
I have a Garden and work as a Gardener
I like challanges
Thus I want to attempt Orchids, again in a Terrarium this time.
(My first attempt was along time ago and I was very young and misinformed)

well I was going to try to post my diagrams of what I planned to do with my terraium, but I couldn't get the picture to reduce beyond 100kb. So fiddlesticks, well until all my orchid books come in I'm just going to lie low. . .

Ok since it's too big to post in the forum, I'll just have to link you there.

Mostly my only problem is getting a canister filter to pull in the water from the reservoir and then have the mister not shor out or mess up
Any pointers let me know

I got a zoomed 501 external filter canister to work for my 55 gallon tank. I have it setup pretty much the same way you have on your sketches.
See:

I hope you can see the intake and the outflow.
ANyway, I had some trouble getting my canister filter working too. I had to fiddle with it just to get it to prime, but It worked. Now I havent serviced the filter since that pick was taken in November or December, and I have to clean it now. Oh boy. Keep working on yours, I bet that it will end up working for you eventually.
