... I've been raising orchids for 28 years. Started in Miami, Florida USA and now in North Carolina USA. Big difference between the two locations is that I need a greenhouse now

Still trying to get this greenhouse thing right mainly with the heating of it in the winter. Want to go solar with heating. Hope anyone out there can help with that...

hi neighbor! welcome to the board, and welcome to nc! i am outside winston salem, where are you? my greenhouse is heated with propane....but it isnt too bad....i dont know how solar would work...maybe closer to the coast it would, but it gets pretty cold around here....anyhow welcome, and post some pics as you get em!

cool!!! come to bethania and follow the signs that say 'orchids'.....and you will find me!
halls propane is the best company to deal with....they give you agricultural rates on propane for greenhouses...i saved .60 a gallon with them....

yes, i have quite a lot of catts....i love catts!...and a bit of everything else....come visit and we can compare greenhouse notes....i will be gone sept 29th for 3 months....
